Role Description:
Architects design and maintain data management solutions. This role includes analyzing company’s data needs, developing database management solutions, and deploying data management software for storing and retrieving data from cloud or on-prem storage solutions. It requires strong analytical and technical skills along with the ability to see the bigger picture regarding data needs to
succeed.
Role Responsibility:
• Responsible for overall implementation strategy inclusive of testing strategy and overall execution of the identified work streams
• Responsible for data modelling, accurate and efficient data warehouse design, data modeling and Report design, and migrations from one tool/platform to another
• Ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, documenting, testing, and problem solving
• Estimate and outline the services required to implement end to end BI solution and continued operation
• Design various effective and efficient data strategies – acquisition, ingestion, movement, storage, security, consumption, and archival
• Provides project status updates to the Steering Committee on a regular basis and escalates issues and risks appropriately
• Lead teams and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
• Should be proficient in written, verbal and presentation communication (English)
Role Requirement:
• Expertise in Data warehouse concepts (Dimensional Modeling, CDM/LDM/PDM. change data capture, slowly changing dimensions etc.)
• Experience in relational databases, nonrelational databases, data streams, and file stores
• Experience in data processing of both Structured and Unstructured data sources
• Experience in performance tuning, optimization, Data Profiling and Data validation
• Experience in requirements gathering and documentation processes
• Experience in many Data Integration tools and Data Visualization tools
• Experience in implementing QA and various testing processes in the project
• Knowledgeable in Shell / PowerShell scripting Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiatives
• Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt to fast-paced Agile environment
Additional Requirement:
• Must possess excellent programming skills with Python
• Work Experience of Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployments
• Design and implement cloud analytics solutions using Azure Services
Extensive hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using Azure services: ADLS, Synapse/DW, Azure SQL DB, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Logic apps, Azure Key Vault
• Preparing the project documents like project book, schedule, and other related documents
• Guiding the team member on the best practices and to follow the appropriate process and methodology like project management
• Understanding and Implementing QA and various testing in the project
• Mentoring / Training the team in all aspects of knowledge needed for the project
