We are looking for an eCommerce Solution Architect to design solutions tailored to business needs for our esteemed clients. This position presents the opportunity to work on client-facing, team-based projects, on a modern development stack, with a focus on Retail business and Commerce in general. You will participate in all aspects of the commerce project lifecycle, while solving challenging technical problems for our clients.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Function as the lead team member for clients’ active eCommerce business and Improve Key metrics in terms of customer value proposition
- Lead solutions and propose recommendations leveraging knowledge of eCommerce technology including platforms, platform extensions, marketplaces, etc.
- Participate in pre-sales, project discovery and delivery activities.
- Estimate, plan, and implement eCommerce solutions for Bounteous’ clients that solve business issues using the latest platform and ecosystem tools.
- Effectively communicate with the client, understand their requirements, and produce architecture diagrams
- Work with integrated agile teams, collaborating with designers, project managers, and product owners to plan and estimate projects.
- Recommend necessary changes in the existing e-commerce application and work for its efficient functioning, revenue generation, and cost savings
- Coordinate with the web developers, e-commerce marketing team, and e-commerce analysts for the effective completion and working of the e-commerce application.
- The Architect has to be efficient in defining key improvement metrics to the customer and offer solutions for the enhancement of the key metrics defined (Ex. Increase in Customer adoption. Decrease in logistic cost, Increase in Production, Increase in customer inflow and purchasing)
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a 2 or 4 year degree in CS/Engineering.
Overall experience of 10+ years in the IT Industry.
- 4+ years working on one or more of the following ecommerce solutions: SaaS platforms based, Composable and Headless Commerce solutions.
- Detailed understanding of ecommerce tools and solutions.
- D2C eCommerce experience required; B2B experience is a plus
- Platform and Architecture technical skills and knowledge of emerging technologies/platforms
- Detailed understanding of service-oriented architecture.
- Experience migrating legacy platforms with new technologies – Re-platforming expertise
- Experience with order management systems / platforms and optimising such platforms. Integration experience with ecommerce
- Familiarity with web technologies such as social media, personalization, and behavioural targeting
- Experience with (or awareness of) user experience design, information architecture and agile web development processes
- Experience working in an agency environment and being client-facing.
- Expert organizational and management skills
